In many rural communities, menstruation remains a topic shrouded in silence and stigma. Our program delivers health education workshops and distributes sanitary products.
Our workshops are conducted in a safe, women-only environment by trained female health educators. Topics cover menstrual hygiene, nutrition, reproductive health basics, and how to access healthcare services — information that many young women in rural areas have never received.
We distribute biodegradable sanitary pads at no cost, and also run awareness sessions on how to make reusable cloth pads as a sustainable, low-cost alternative.
The program also works with the adolescent girls at our evening schools, ensuring that menstrual health education reaches the youngest generation early.
