Many children in rural villages have never owned a book or visited a library. Our mobile library changes that. A vehicle stocked with age-appropriate books, comics, and educational materials travels from village to village.
The library vehicle visits each village on a fixed weekly schedule. Children and adults can borrow up to three books at a time and return them on the next visit — no fees, no fines, no barriers.
Our collection includes Tamil and English storybooks, science and nature books, comics, biographies of inspiring figures, and curriculum-support books for school students. New titles are added regularly through book drives and donor contributions.
Beyond borrowing, our library volunteers conduct reading-aloud sessions for young children, helping build a habit of reading from the earliest age.
