The culmination of the plan to provide comprehensive quality medical care to the villagers is the development of a small hospital to be located on five acres of land in one of the villages, as yet to be determined.
Every patient at the hospital will receive individualized care suited to their needs and desires. Explanations will be provided to patients about their medical condition and the options for care available to them. In addition to allopathic doctors and nurses on staff, Ayurveda and homeopathy consultants will be available to patients via regular visits to the hospital. Yoga, music, gentle walks in garden areas, and a compassionate staff will all be part of the care patients receive.
The initial construction of the hospital compound will include three buildings:
- Loving home for children in dire need.
- A separate building with 10 rooms, each with a bathroom, and a shared kitchen area to house medical staff and volunteers when needed.
- An open air covered area for gatherings of villagers throughout the region to educate and discuss the importance of hygiene and the causes of common illnesses.

- Places for volunteers to stay so that the area receives volunteer support
- A library with books in Tamil and English
- A computer room with internet access
- Resources to connect villagers with needed assistance
Beyond the villages that surround Tiruvannamalai lie the Jawadhu Hills where 20,000 tribal Indians live in over 200 hamlet villages. This area has been described as stepping back in time. Many villages have no power or dependable clean water. Some cannot be reached by motorized vehicles. Regenboog’s Mobile Clinic now travels to some of these villages, providing much needed medical care to villagers of all ages.
The next step in helping the people of this area is to build a resource center in a central location where all villagers in the area can come. The center will feature a library, a computer lab, a medical clinic, and a room for instruction. The building will also have rooms where volunteers can stay and support the villagers in various ways such as teaching English, and computer, agricultural and technical skills.
